83 hurst wheels / vacuum diagram

Hi everyone.
I have recently purchased an 83 Olds Hurst with 27000 original miles on it, however it has been parked ouside. Its in excellent condition just needs a little tlc. The wheels have oxidized so bad they are a gray color, like ther is a clear coat on them. There are spots where the chrome is excellent (where some little spots of the gray clearcoat has chipped off or under the red stripe). I have used Mothers chrome polish and other cleaners, and even a power ball with no luck.....any ideas? I also need a vacuum diagram.
Thanks
Troy

Your probably going to have to refinish the wheels a lot of 80's GM wheels did the same thing. What is wrong with the vacuum?? I could probably help.

Some of the vacuum hoses have dry rotted and broke off. Just trying to get them all replaced and hooked back up right.
Thanks

If you haven't already invested in a Chilton's guide I would. I know alot of guys on here will tell you that Chilton's is no good; however, I have always found that they are easier to use than a Haynes manual. Alot of guys on here get original books for their cars. I am not even sure what they are called. I do have shop manuals for my 64 but that is old enough that it makes finding a Chilton's guide difficult. You would be able to find a vacuum diagram in a Chilton's guide.
