71 Cutlass steering wheel removal

71 Cutlass steering wheel removal

How do I remove this 3rd screw ?

You'll need to pull the steering wheel to gain access to that 3rd screw, or if you don't care about the wheel & parts, a large flat screw driver will suffice to pry/break that plastic piece out of the way. If you don't have a steering wheel puller now is a good time to buy one or most auto parts stores will let you borrow/rent one for cheap.

Ahh so I am supposed to remove the wheel before I can access it. Thanks for that. The wheel is actually broke if I had a replacement I'd opt for 2nd option

So I went and rented a remover and one of the threads is crossed in my wheel so I can't even use it
