64 Build sheet Locations

Hey Everyone! I'm trying to see if my car still has the build sheet for it. Any ideas on possible locations? I put a new gas tank in it so I know it's not above the tank. I also looked under the seats to no avail. 1964 Dynamic 88

If your car was built at Lansing (which I think yours was) then you will probably not find one'
Lansing was very meticulous about removing "paper" from a car before shipment.
Other GM assembly plants across the country, not so much.

"Directly" stolen from a different website.

The Oldsmobile Eighty Eight was produced in Wentzville, Missouri; Flint, Michigan; and Lake Orion, Michigan.

I don't know what year 88 that website referred to, but it wasn't 1964.
From the 1964 Chassis Parts Catalog In the 1964 model chart ;
The following locations and their VIN codes were listed as Oldsmobile final assembly points;
M= Lansing (MI)
B= Baltimore (MD)
F= Fremont (CA)
D= Kansas City (MO)
A= Atlanta (GA)
K= Kansas City (KS)
L= Linden (NJ)
C= South Gate (CA)
T= Arlington (TX)

Hi Charlie - I'm aware of the Oldsmobile assembly plant locations. What I didn't know for certain, was whether each model was produced at only one, several or all assembly plant locations for ALL years of production for the Delta 88 (specifically); or, perhaps only during select years. I apologize for misrepresenting information. I'm equally surprised at myself for not listing my SOURCE of information which I generally do for any post(s) I obtain information - so, I'm really guilty of that one.

To this end, here is the source I obtained the information:

I wouldn't quote any information out of that websight.
They also have a '57 Chevy 150 two door identified as a Bel-Air convertible.

Assembly plant locations varied over the years as new plants were opened, and some old plants closed.
Until 1937 all Oldsmobiles were built at Lansing.
In'37 Linden (NJ) and South Gate (CA) opened.
After the WWII Kansas City (KS) opened in 1946.
In 1947 plants were opened at Wilmington (DE) and Atlanta (GA).
In 1948 Framingham (MA) was added.
Arlington (TX) was added in 1954.
In 1964 Wilmington was dropped and Baltimore, Fremont and Kansas City (MO) were added.
All this info comes from my collection of Oldsmobile parts books.
