1969 radiator support

1969 radiator support
I have a 1969 442 with a rusty radiator support, I also have a 70 support in great shape, I compared the two and they look similar with exception of latch area .my question is ,can latch from 69 be adapted to 70 support ?

I've not personally performed this, but here is what I know...
Choice 1. Put a 70 hood on it with the 70 support.
Choice 2. Find another good 69 support. Many people want to put a 70 OAI hood on a 69. This requires the 70 support installed on the 69.
Choice 3. Could be to cut out the rot and graft in the good metal from the 70. Not sure if those areas are the same. You"ll have to compare.
Follow up here with what worked to close the loop. Makes the search feature work better.
