1964 Oldsmobile F-85 4 Door V8
Hi i have a 1964 Oldsmobile F-85 4 door V8 and wanted to know alot more about it i got from my uncle for free and it came with its original 330 V8 and transmission, the car has about 40,000 original miles on it and is kind of a Dark Sea Blue and the interior is a two toned light Sea Blue and Dark Sea Blue also I want to know how many were made of this body style what i know from my research there were only 3 ever built of F-85 4 doors, what options were rare on them, mine has power steering and i think it has a posi rear end.
Hi, congratulations on such a good deal and welcome to out site! I really doubt if there were only 3 built as those small numbers would not justify even opening up the line at the factory but I will be glad to check for you. I have a reference book that is accurate and dependable. I am familiar with the color combination you are describing, have seen it before, very nice! 40,000 miles is really low, sounds like you have a keeper.
Can someone tell me the production numbers for a 1964 Oldsmobile F85 4Door V8, all the websites that i have found says mine is 1 of 3 ever built thanks Ryan.
Old thread, but fwiw;
There is opinion that there were three std 4 doors built with 442 option.
