Cool new bie with a 1956 olds (LS swap need guidance)

Hey guys im the new guy, nitram picked up a 1956 olds and that looks like it needs a lot of TLC, i would love to attemp to do an engine swap, put in a LS engine. Has anyone done this swap before? I have the car and the engine in my garage. Just need some guidance. To be honest a buddy of my is who is going to attempt it. He has done these swaps multiple times on chevy trucks and blazers never on an Oldsmobile. Any guidance or recomendations would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the site, post some pics of your project. I moved your post to the non Olds engine forum. While not many in this Forum have performed your swap in 56 there are some that have done it in A bodies. Hopefully they may be able to point you in the right direction.

just saw this. I did the swap in our 67, not sure if the parts I used will be of use in that frame. I would be happy to answer any questions and help if I can.
