I need some help to figure out what trans i have in my 87 Chevy full size truck w/4.3 v 6

I am not sure I can even remember seeing a V6 in a 87 full size so i will let someone else answer. I would assume it was a 700r4

It looks like the 700-R4 was the only auto trans you could get with the 262 cube/4.3 litre engine in '87 if I'm reading it right.
