1970 Chevelle Twin Turbo LS.....super sleeper

Speed INC is a modern super car shop by my house that's very well known around Chicago.
One of the guys who works there owns this 1970 Chevelle with the TT LQ9.
I'm trying to get a price on the turbo add on's , etc.

http://www.speedinc.com/ptsc/?page_id=80

The LQ9 motors can be found really cheap these days.
LY6's are better with the L92 heads, but not sure about the compression with the TT's.

Very low 11's in the 1/4 on stock tires.
Great MPG to boot, fuel injected, and daily driver friendly.
With $4 a gallon gas coming again in 2011......

I watched the build up of that car. Its pretty sick. Those are drag radials though. A long way from stock tires.
This is my friend Johns 5.3 wagon with single 76

White 65 Ford truck and green 36 Ford are turbo LS powered. I can't share what the truck runs but I will say it would make the 70 Chevelle above look slow.

Nice! Got me all excited watching that video. Truly great potential from those engines.

I had an 01 Z28 that was modded out with a K&N air intake, magnaflow catback exhaust with cutouts, and a computer tune. Amazing with just those mods how fast that car was.

Yeah you are probably right. Still for such little skinny 7" rim tires, very impressive #'s.

My Chrome is having an issue, but my FF worked.
That wagon is RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I'd be so embarrassed getting whooped by that. LOL

Hey, that video you linked to is showing me an all green screen with audio.
I even tried to just go to the link directly.

Am I the only retard getting this ?
from the site you linked "Wheels are 15×8 steel with hubcaps and MT drag radials with white stripe" Looks like a 275-60-15 to me

Guess I should have looked at it before commenting that time.
Someone told me it was stock.

You right.

That Chevelle is a sleeper. I would hate to get spanked by one that looks like grandma owns it. Very nice car.
