Advice: toss in a period here and there so you don't have one long run-on sentence that is hard to read.

If both of your frame mounts were the correct mounts and in the correct location the engine/trans should have been correctly aligned. Perhaps the frame is bent?

X2, the kits now a days are plentiful for LS swap mounts in Chevelles. Something is not mounted correctly.

I've uploaded some images. My photos might give you a better description of what I'm going through. Therefore my cry out for help I notice that in some of the other pictures they have moved mounts back Frame mounts that is

Are you installing with the motor and trans attached to each other? My advice would be to fit, fit, then fit again. Personally I like the idea of mocking up motor only with frame mounts attached and then marking the position on the cross member. After that's done, then attach them to the cross member.

There are more than enough LS Swaps here to find good information.

I see extra holes in the motor mount engine plates, are you using the right ones?

Honestly all these cars can be off little. The precision manufacturing we have today far surpasses any frame assembled in the 70's. I said all that to say it would be hard to take measurments from someone elses build without using the exact same parts. Also just because none of us can see with the naked eye, it doesn't me the frame couldn't be tweaked. I'm not saying that it is, but unless you get the frame specs and measure, there is no way of knowing for sure.

Now what you could do(and what I have seen others do) is uninstall the frame mounts, connect them to the motor mounts, then mock the engine and install where you see is the correct spot. Remember there can be some variance as you are installing and engine in a car that mounting position was not built for from the factory.

Trust me this is not an exact science, I've had mine in and out enough times to know...

It looks like you are pretty far into it but I'll mention anyway that the Holley swap kit fits excellent and the LS3/4L65E install on my 68 went easy. This kit was just released this year.
You need the holley 302-2 pan, the holley frame brackets, and 4th gen camaro/firebird LS motor mounts.
Also, a small change at the mount will make a much larger change at the tail of the trans. Perhaps you can loosen the frame mounts slightly, then drop in the motor, swivel the engine slightly into location, and re-tighten.

What was different about the umi kit that allowed you to get the engine in straight?
