New 87 coupe owner

Hi

I'm now the proud owner of a 1987 Ninety-eight coupe, purchased last week in suburban St Louis. ($1000 -- woohoo!)

It's a very nice car, 113,000 miles, in good to very good condition. I'll have to take some pics next time I've got batteries in the camera.

Was just wondering.....somewhere (here, I think) it seems like I saw that 120-some coupes were made that year....anyone know for sure?

Any particular issues on these models? Any parts I need to look out for when I'm at a junkyard next?

Thanks!

There weren't many coupes made in the 80s that is for sure. I bet there are even fewer in the later 80s. That is interesting, I didn't even know they were making coupes in 87. I thought the last year they made 98 coupes was like 81 or so. Please post some pics, we definitely want to see your new family member.

some pics

Here's a couple of pics....didn't have time to resize the interior shots, but it's in just as nice condition as the outside.

Still hoping someone might be able to tell me some production numbers....can't seem to find that anywhere...
