1983 98 Interior questions

Ok I just bought a rare 1983 Oldsmobile hearse based off a 98. Now with Hearse coach builders they tend to alter the interior somewhat. Sometimes it's just the rear. But sometimes there are some small difference. So could anyone tell me if this interior is stock.

Stickman, the interior looks stock to me. The only things that don't look OE are:

1) The double DIN stereo in the passenger's side of the dash.
2) Overhead 6"x9" speakers installed with the aftermarket stereo. Are there speaker grilles on top of the dash too?
3) No headliner.
4) Aftermarket cup holder/console on the floorboard.
5) Aftermarket floor mats.

You can get OE fabric from SMS Auto Fabrics if you want to redo the headliner correctly.

What's "factory" in your car is original (seat upholstery, door panels, carpet and other trim) The radio and speakers are bogus.
I'm sure the headliner material just fell from old age and the panel was removed.
How is the rest of the car??? Post some pic's

The Speakers may have been part of when it was at a haunted attraction. They also put them in the exterior of the roof. Not sure what the original headliner would look like just because of the raised hearse roof. The headliners are typically raised as well. Thank you for your help guys. I am trying to put her back the way she was.

It looks stock to me also, and be aware that there were light monitors available as well as volt and oil gauges on the left side of the steering column. My '83 looks the same inside as yours but my clock was within the radio. A blank plate or emblem where the clock hole is.

That "digital quartz clock" came as standard equipment on the 1983 98 Regency

My '81 & '83 both have their clocks in the radio, and if I remember correctly the '80 & '84 did also. The '80 also had the CB option. They must have had up scale radios.

You're right, the regular radios and tape players don't have a digital display, just a slide bar am fm tuner so they would all have that sperate clock. If you upgraded and got 1 like

this stereo like what came in the Riviera's you didn't get the dash clock. My 84 Riv came with an expensive Bose stereo with Bose speakers and each speaker had a little built-in amplifier, don't know if Oldsmobile offered that sound system?

I like that old hearse. It'll make 1 hell of a station wagon, no pun intended. If you want to compare your hearse to some regular 98's go to gatewayclassiccars.com and search "Oldsmobile" scroll down to the early 1980's and there are a couple of very nice 1's for $10 to $15 grand with lots of pictures.
