1964 98 Value

My first "ride" was a 1952 Super 88 that my Dad bought shortly before I was born. He gave it to me when I turned 16 and it is still (37 years later) in the garage . It needs new upholstery so I need to sell the car my Dad bought (in 1966) to replace the 52. It is a 1964 98 , 4- door hardtop. Has 172,000 miles , motor & trans rebuilt in 1976 at 133,500 miles. Has not been driven since around 1992.I believe the car to be complete -has all chrome & trim. One repaint in 1976 . I would appreciate advise as to the value of the car.As much as I do not want to sell , it is too nice of a car to not be restored and used. Will try to put up pictures this week . Thanks for your help. John

John, I just sold my 1964 98 4 door hardtop last fall. I got $800 for it. You might be able to get $1200 for it if you keep it in the paper or on-line long enough. From your description it seems like mine was in similar condition.
