What and where do they go

Now that my 98 is 98% re-assembled, I am looking over what is left that came with the car. I don't know what these rods are and where they are used.

That's kinda what they look like, but likely not for a convertible.

They were in the car with many trim parts. I thought maybe for the cardboard inside trunk trim? I have no clue. When I got it all door panels were removed, no top, no carpet, back seat out. These and 2 other small pieces are the only parts I don't know. The other pieces I posted before, and got no help on them either. Everything else was for the car.

I was going to say the same thing, but Pat's car is a convert.

Is there any chance that these are used to anchor or form the bottoms of the sail panels on the convertible top? I've not done any converts, so I'm not sure. The Fisher Body Manual should show them if that's what they are.

The sail panel portion of the back curtain has their own bolt in tack strip. Is it possible there was a headliner or partial inside sail panel on these cars? I know some caddy verts had a headliner. I 'll go back and look in the manual closer, but the top is fitting good in that area, and I don't recall seeing anything like this in the manual when I did the top.

Could have just been thrown in the trunk If someone was scrounging parts for a convertible off a hardtop. I know not much gets left off a like year car I'm picking unless the trunk is full.... Tedd
