Time to hunt junkyards, the only problem with that is all the older cars get scrapped and then clapped. Good luck with the hunt. You may try the parts wanted section and post up what you need.

Do you have a Factory Service Manual with a wiring diagram? Since there's 12V at the lamps and they don't illuminate did you clean the bulb sockets and make sure they aren't OPEN?

My 85 has these lights as well. They haven't worked since I've had the car. I figure the easiest thing to do is to covert it to LEDs.

Here's a video explaining a work around. There is an inverter available that will work, but it's made for Sea Ray boats so it needs some modification. Also the video goes through how to test the inverter to confirm that's the problem.

Found one its NOS from all places Dubai and they still don't work so LED conversion might be the answer thanks for all the information appreciate it.

I'd compare the test results from your old inverter with your new inverter. Ordering any NOS parts from overseas would be suspect. I hope you didn't pay too much.

Good luck with the repair. 👍

If the bulbs are good, check the sockets for corrosion. Also, check the spring loading of the socket terminals.
