Most header manufacturers claim that headers for the 1968-77 Cutlass cars also fit the 1971-76 full size cars. You will need a double hump trans crossmember from a 1971-74 Delta or Ninety Eight. Personally, I don't see the attraction of headers on a car like that. I'd go with the W/Z manifolds used on 442s or the X/Z manifolds used on the 1971-74 cars. Theses manifolds are internally divided to provide better flown and will be better suited to a car like a Ninety Eight.

Most of the Olds vendors sell repros. You can even get them on Amazon. Many members here have used ones for sale also - post a wanted ad. The double hump crossmember is needed to clear the LH exhaust pipe, whether you have headers or manifolds. Your 76 was only offered with single exhaust.

x2

I have a set of Hedman Hedders on my 71 98 and they've been a PITA. I have to replace the header gaskets every spring even though I've tried fancy gaskets and different brands of locking bolts. My Olds was much more street able when I ran the X/Z manifolds. FWIW, these are the ones I have:

I have a few dual exhaust crossmembers.from 74 delta 88's.
$75 + shipping.
Thornton makes a shorty header for olds motors.
I know nothing else about them .
Just that they're available.

Agree with Joe_P. I went with the W/Z exhaust manifolds and bolted in 74 dual hump cross-over over 10 yrs ago. It's a direct fit and no issues.
