I bought a dual reservoir master cylinder from Craig at Mobile Parts for my 64/98. I am trying to figure out what else is needed and the best way to modify the lines to accept the newly more-safe master cylinder. I did a bunch of searching, but the results were not very clear. I saw a lot for other makes.

I currently have power drum brakes, with no intentions of switching them out. Do I need to change anything with the booster or the pushrod? Do they make a junction block that I can swap out to make it even easier to do?

As always, I'm looking for some advice! My 64 is currently at the glass shop getting the windshield replaced (advice given on this forum)

I have great success with my projects on both.

 

First determine whether you have Bendix or Moraine brakes.
Bendix has 4 nuts holding M/C to booster, Moraine only 2.
If you have a Bendix booster, then scout out a Moraine booster.
With a moraine booster you can bolt up a 67 or later M/C.
Make sure the hole in the M/C piston where the pushrod goes is the right depth. The pushrod is adjustable, but it may have to be swapped.
Make sure to use a junction block, NOT a proportioning valve! ( those are for disc brakes only)
As far as brake lines, you're on your own. I don't think anyone makes these lines to make this conversion yet. A tubing bender and a double flaring tool are your best friends here.
Take a look at 67 and later drum brake cars to get an idea as to where to connect everything.
