I just picked this cream puff up

It looks as good in person as it does in the pics

It does have a few nicks and chips in the paint Id like to fix...

The problem is I cant find the paint code anywhere on this car

Nothing on the SPID sticker in the trunk and nothing in the glove box...

Anyone have any ideas???

Cool Body Info

Oldsmobilliam says he found his body tag on the dash (cowl) near the drivers wiper - open the hood to view...

It has 113,000 but someone put Richmond 3.42 gears and an Auburn posi in it, the speedo reads a bit fast

I looked on the cowl and I can't find anything

It is jacked up a bit... The kid I got it from put heavy duty springs on front and rear so he could get some 22's or 24's on it

Im gonna put some stock springs in it because it rides like a truck right now

Crazy kids and their goofy wheels...lol. Those 3.42s must really help the 307 move it along. I was considering something like that in mine.Or maybe 3.23s. Thanks.

Steve,
I had one of these boats in 1983. Yours will be the same as far as paint codes go. Open the hood. On the drivers side close to the fender/firewall there will be a cowl tag with the paint code on it. Mine was code 11 - white. Yours looks like it is the "light briar brown" code 62. PS: the cowl tag should be close to the area below the VIN but on the horizontal section where the cowl lacing is.

If you have difficulty finding it, drop by any body shop, they can show you where to look.
