Where'd the hose valve go? I liked that.

Nice job.

Although it would be easier if you posted both photos in the same thread so they don't get lost in different ones? Makes it much easier to compare. Nice cleanup BTW! Did you do a complete rebuild or just paint?

From the thread 'Before'

Allen I tried but could not get them both to upload from this damn IPad just a general cleanup and paint, engine is solid so no need for a rebuild at this time .

I understand about the iPad. Not my favorite electronic thing either. Much rather have my desktop. The 'after' looks really spectacular and I know you had to move a lot of things to get those results. Nice job!

BTW, if you still have that hose with the water valve? Send it to Eric - I'm sure it will fit nicely into his 73 vert (he collects novelties like that)

There were 2 posts and 2 pictures , due to my lack of IPad skills Alan put both together for me thanks by the way ! There's a bunch of photos of the tear down and cleaning and paint but I have not the skills to post them altogether ;( and I don't want to take up space .

There's an easy way to put up to 20 pics on a single thread. Not sure how well it will work on iPad (cause I hate using my wife's iPad) but here's one way to do it without worrying about resizing them.
Host the pics on Photobucket or other cloud host.

Start your thread on CO and then flip back and forth between the cloud server and CO doing this:
On cloud: copy the IMG url (IMG = image, url = uniform resource locator; which is just a fancy word for path to find the image on your cloud host)
On CO: CTRL V (or paste) the image you just copied, then hit return. (that's important to 'stack the pics) instead of having them run to the side)

Repeat that process for up to 20 pics, then hit 'submit reply'.

Hope that works for you.

For everyone else's convenience, here is the link to the 'Before Thread' which I copied the pic from and here's one more pic of the engine "before" from old blue's weekend of fun

That's what we call a two can rebuild. One can degreaser and one can spray paint. It came out nice though.

Sorry, the weird part of me saw 'toucan' instead of 'two can'. It instantly conjured up a pair of these just waiting to crap all over a clean car...
