69 olds 98 steering!

My 69 Olds 98 Ls seems like it has a slight pull to the right when I drive on the streets . On the highway it disappears. My mechanic for the last twenty years drove it and told me it's all in my head and that's how these boats handle. It has radial tires and very low mileage. Is it normal to have to hold the wheel slightly to the left on city streets? Am I crazy?

Your mechanic is correct, the car will follow the crown of the road. It will tend to want to go to the right if there is a crown. If goes straight in a parking lot or on a flat road your fine.
