1964 - 98 door moulding removal

Happy new year everyone.

Can any of you guide me to how I remove the lower door moulding on the doors ?

Ofcause I removed the screws in the end, after that I gently tried to pry and massage the moulding off, but I am affraid to bend the moulding.

In general I could use a guide to how I remove stainless trim etc. since I have some small rust spots I need to adress here and there. Can any one help?

Thank you

Jandk, I owned a 64 98. As I recall the molding on the bottom of the doors and fenders are pot metal. Be careful prying on it, it may snap.

The middle trim clips push into holes in door, there are some plastic pry tools that can be used to remove the trim. Could pull the door panel and take a look inside door and may be able to collapse clip and pop the trim off be starting on one end.
