1962 98- Highly Optioned car.
I just adopted a 1962 98 Holiday Sports Coupe 50,500 miles.
Some wear and tear but intact . seems to have been garaged most of her life.
Most of the option are working. some are barely but the parts are all there.
This is a"FULLY LOADED" car. As far as can tell it has every add on option on the list. Here is the list. Your opinions please. Thank you for your time.

WOW!!!! sounds like a nice car, does it also have the AM radio with foot control seek?
What are your plans for the car and how much do you want for her?
What colours, I don't have a 62 book handy.

The color is Wedgewood Mist Blue. It needs a paint job. That Ill probable do in the next week or two. To STOCK color.
How much? Cant saw yet. My wife really likes this car.
Frankly, this is a car that should be brought back to FACTORY STACK condition. And I'm not the guy to do it. I build Kustom hot rods and California cruisers. All with Air ride and wild paint schemes.
So I am putting this out there to see what everyone things about her.
Anybody that's interested in an offer , please P M me.

I call the button on the floor the seek/scan button and when I drive I try not to tap my left foot or I change the station. Have you looked in the glove box to see if you have power trunk release? Having your wife like the car means you have half the battle won and seeing as you can shoot your own paint I would make this one a keeper! I mentioned this car to my wife while out at dinner and I'm sure I have hit my limit on cars now or I get to keep half after the smoke settles. How is the interior? I think we need pictures on this car.

It sounds like someone checked EVERY box on the order list.
Sometimes large dealerships would order a car like this to put on the showroom floor , just to show customers what the the accessories actually looked like . Or even to demonstrate them .
At the end of the year they would blow them out at a big discount and somebody would get a really good deal. In the meantime , the salesmen would hopefully have sold more options on the cars they sold.

The Coupe was uncommon even back then as most Ninety Eight buyers went for the sedans.
This one is about as loaded as I've ever seen one. Lot of the stuff you mentioned was standard on Ninety Eight but some, notably the Cruise Control, rear defog and power vent windows, are just plain rare outside of Cadillac.
And it's stuff we take for granted on a KIA now.

The more I think about , the more I'm sure. I am not the proper custodian for this Grand Lady. She deserves to be brought back to stock mint condition. My taste run to Kustom cars. There is no thrill in a stock car for me. I'm hoping to get her into the hands of a true Oldsmobile lover. Someone that would treat her right.
So, with that. I am asking for your advice and suggestions on how to move this car to its next rightful owner. I'm willing to trade for a running pre 64. I'm like to do early 60'stages low rider kustoms. Thank you for time.
