61 Dynamic 88 from Austin TX

Hey, Just picked up a sweet Copper and white dynamic 88, in great condition! It came running, but eventually found a way to die, which I am currently working on. Should be moving and grooving by the end of the weekend. Glad to have a community forum to search for advice on repair and maintenance. This is my first classic car, so I have little to no knowledge. Fortunately, there are plenty of people around me who do, so I'm not completely at a loss! I will post up a picture very shortly.

Your color is called Autumn Mist and is one of the best colors ever for an Oldsmobile of any year, not just the Space Age cars.

What exactly has yer Dynamic done? Engine, SlimJim, what? That'll help us help you.

Cool! Never heard of that color, but I LOVE it. Never seen it before.

It's mostly stock functionally. The previous owner added some after-market electrics (Equus box, windshield wiper timer), a below dash A/C, and a currently unused Mallory coil. Engine is clean, and was running for several days when I got it, then started sputtering, then wouldn't start. So I will be working on THAT over the weekend.

The weather is nasty so I'll try to post more over the weekend. The interior is spottless, it would be a shame not to show it off

VERY NICE LOOKIN' '61, MR CNOS. Try and get her fixed and drive her up to Granbury for the Olds Zone Show in April, or over to Fredericksburg for our annual get together down there the first part of November. You will meet the nicest people!!! Again, welcome!
