I am new to the Olds 442 (68) but not to old cars. I just got mine yesterday. It is black with red interior and red stripe on fender. PS, PB, AT, AC, Buckets very stock except radio. My last GM car was a 72 Buick boat tail. Prior to that 58 Edsel, 64 1/2 XL & others before that.

I am pumped about the 442. Definitely the best car I have owned.

Welcome the 68 is a good year. Love Austin as well, I spent a week last summer @Lake Travis and a couple days in Round Rock.

Welcome to CO! You'll love it here! As a quick aside,there is an OCA Club in SA. The North Texas Club is hosting a Zone Show October 7-9 at the Marriott Hotel on Hwy 114/IH35W intersection north of FW, and across from Texas Motor Speedway. Contract signed with the host hotel, and know there will be several coming up from the SA/Austin/Houston area for the event. Should have more to post on "Announcements" next week on CO. Aron, I've met you...My dad is Joe Brown, he has the '72 Vista Cruiser with the OAI hood on it...car is a light brown color. He also has a blue '72 convertible parked right next to it. I thought your car looked familiar...just didn't see an opportunity to ask.

I was there last year in uniform, bald from chemotherapy. I am using the time off (while feeling well) to get my green '72 Supreme there for 2011. We should hook up for dinner this year...we usually don't go to the Sunday brunch.
