restoring my 74 cutlass supreme

this past weekend i decided to tear my olds apart and restore it. it had the vinyl rust collector on the roof. i tore it all off and it is bad.around the windows is all rotted out. i removed all the interior and found it had mice at one time.everything else seems to be solid. i took all the chrome off,and bumper fillers off, and removed all the lights. i know it's going to be a long expensive project, but it has to be done. i figured instead of just fixing the roof, might as well do it all.

I love how flushing bleach out of the tank turns into MAW the entire ride. Good luck and keep us posted.

my nieghbor said my olds is not worth restoring, that by the time i get done with it i could have bought a new one. i told him yeah that maybe so, but when i am done with it, it will be worth more, look better, and run better than any new throw away electric trash car you will ever own. at least when the power goes out my car will still run, no plug in needed.

Nothing's really that cheap to restore these days but these cars are worth restoring. If you're planning on keeping it for a long time, it's worth doing. Look forward to the pics of your progress.

i feel the same way about it, and our old cars will still be around when thier new junk, is in the junk yard, or crushed and melted into another piece of junk.
