Hello all, my name's anth and I'm a graphic designer living in the northeast of England. I've had a few classic cars over the years including several American ones, and I've always had a thing for GM A-bodies, although til now they've always been Pontiac. Anyway, yesterday I bought this:

It came up at the right price at the right time and I couldn't resist it. It's in overall good condition, with a few minor things that need sorting. Expect plenty of questions here!

Hi Roger, think it's going to be mostly local stuff and cruises for this year, the car was a bit of an unexpected addition so we haven't got a lot of free weekends! Which shows do you get to?

 

Hi again Anth, I will go to Billing in August and the aacuk show near Cambridge in September, if I can make it I'll go to the Mopar Nationals at Santa Pod later this month.
I might also make the Hot Rod Drags at Shakespeare County as well.

Billing late summer nationals is August 16th-18th. Same weekend as the Northampton hot air balloon festival which is a bonus.

Thanks old skl 69! Question for you - are your wheels black or body coloured? Mine are silver at the moment but I'm thinking about changing that.

 

Welcome, nice ride, appears to be Bamboo paint. In 1970 the wheels would have been painted argent grey, with only the pace car replicas and the Rallye 350 having body colored wheels, but, it is your car, so go for it!
