Hello from Virginia

Old car guy from va mostly involved with 60-64 full size Chevy, Pontiac and olds.

Am sure others have their favs, but IMHO the '60 - '64 era was when GM was at its zenith.

I had the following Olds: '60, '61 and '63. Have now a '62.

Right now have 61 impala convert. Also have a couple of 62 star fires for parts if ever need anything for yours.

I agree, Dave, but I would go so far as to include the 65-69 cars too. The 1960s were a car guy's decade, when even Ramblers didn't look quite so frumpy and everyone had interesting styling and performance.

I've said for a long time GM was never as adventurous again as they were in the early 60s. Bill Mitchell had brought the extravagant styling under control and the engineers were running full-bore with innovation.

Whereabouts in Vajenya, Sawyer? As you see I'm in the Southside.
