Hey everyone
Iam ken from pittsfield
Rookie builder just purchased a 1969 cutlass s has a 350 with a two barrel. Just looking for ideas with the motor want some good torque and horsepower where to start. Thank you guys and will post pictures through out the build

I might suggest looking into dual exhaust systems. Then getting a four barrel carb.
If its running good, you can enjoy it while driving it around. If its not, you"ll probably need a tune up. Don't leave out good brakes, you need that too
Worry about the cosmetic things later. Get it safe and running good.

Thanks don me and my son are working on it he is eight should he a great time it already has dual exhaust looks like someone did some work to it but we will see and breaks are the first thing for it like you said need to he safe

A tune up is a good place to start, then a four barrel. Depending on the mileage on the motor you may consider a new timing chain and gear as they wear down. Then a cam upgrade with a four barrel an edelbrock performer manifold. One step at a time as funds permit. I agree the brakes, tires then hoses should come first.
