new guy builder here !

I am a builder of very very old cars such as a 1902 curve dash oldsmobile.
I started tihs build with nothing. I now have a car that is the exact replica
of the 1902. I am tired of running lawn mower engines in these cars.Is their someone out their that can give me some hints on other engines that would work with this car.Would like an original engine but if their was one it would be worth about $300,000 and that to much green for me.

According to my very incomplete research the first Oldsmobiles had a single cylinder cast iron engine with a 41/2" bore and 6" stroke.
Such engines might be found in ancient agricultural machinery, maybe you could find leads to what you are looking for by enquiring at rural museums.
Let us see some pics of your Model Ts as well. I'm pretty sure the Olds oriented folks on this forum will recieve them well.

Roger.
