Hey Guys,

I'm Mo, 24years old coming from Germany. I bought a 74 98 LS 2 years ago. It is in good, unmolested, bondo- and rustfree condition with proven 108k miles.

It was in Pasadena, California from 74 until 95 when the original owner decided to go back to Germany and take the boat with him. He passed away and his wife sold it to a collector who drove the car approx. 1 time per year.

The original owner seemed to love his car and maintained it well and also kept all the reciepts for me

Usually we don't go fast than 100mph with these old rides for traveling (The engines temperature of the Ford guys don't like it )

These big American boats were made for high-speed Interstate/Autobahn cruising. Most feel better at 80-90 mph than at 60.

Enjoy your Ninety Eight. I'm sure it's an uncommon sight on German roads.

my brother and I wanted to check how fast it goes so we went on the Autobahn and put pedal to the metal. Unfortunately the speedometer end at 100mph but I am sure we did 140-160. When agreed to check that with GPS when we have the time

Actually what I noted when travelling fast with my club friends is tha the guys with the "hot-built" engines usually have problems when going fast for a long time. (See in my 3rd video above Ford Ranchero with freshly made 351 burning)
