New Olds owner from Austria (Europe)
Hello everybody and greetings from Austria (Europe). I own my first Olds for 2 month now. It´s a ´66 cutlass f85 with the 330 and the "shitty" 2gear transmission (will change that ).
Last week I started the restauration. This year the interiour and the body,
next year the suspension, motor and transmission.
...and I already read the engine book of Bill Trovato... interesting but most of the topics are for the stronger motors than mine
It will take a while but which setup would you refer to my motor (the motor is a 250hp original-nothing done yet motor): intake manifold and carburator...
My goal are nice 300+ hp, not that important right now but I´m intersted in what you think of it and what you would prefer. Pictures later that week, my camara is .........
Thank you, Daniel

Hey Daniel,
welcome to co!
I love the 66s
I'm sure some of the engine experts here will answer your questions! Having a 330 in my 66, as well I'm very interested in your build, as there are not many 330 builds one can follow.
looking forward to seeing the pictures, I like the f85 trim best on the 66
baba
By the way, I converted mine from the 2-speed Jet-a-Way to a TH400, not as easy as a TH350 swap, but if you have one available, it's also a possible way to go!

Welcome to CO
Lots of European members on the site. Oldsmobiles are loved world wide. The 330 can easily be made into a 300+ hp ride and with a turbo 35 tranny you'll be set. Check out the small block engine forum for more info and ask specific questions and you'll get the answers here

in Europe there is no TH400 available, you have to search for a long time or buy it in the US
