Greetings from Austria

Hi!
I am new to the forum. I am from Austria and own a 1970 Cutlass Supreme 4dr Holiday Hardtop. I bought the car here in Austria years ago, and used it as an every-day car for quite some time. However, the car has not been driven in years now and it really needs some care. Actually I am thinking of re-building it from scratch, as they are quite rare here in Austria (I think there aren't too many in Europe as well), so it might be worth it. As I will definitely need some expertise for this project I registered to the forum.

Greetings from Austria,

Andreas.

1970 Cutlass Supreme 4dr Holiday Hardtop

Thanks for the nice welcoming to CO!
When the Cutlass has been shipped to Austria in February 1970, this picture has been taken to be included in the vehicles certificate of conformity, from where I scanned it now. Unfortunately todays looks of the car deviate significantly from the original ones :-) (several former owners left their marks)
The nice thing is that there is almost no rust and all parts are there, so I think it is a good basis to work with. More recent pictures will follow soon...

-Andreas

ooooh, the "Holiday" 4-dr = no post in the windows area [no "B-post"]

sehr gut!

Join wildaboutcars.com for free
get a Chassis Service Manual either CD or paper copy
Get an Assembly Manual - or print what you need from WAC.com

I have many parts cars, and will ship to Europe.
Many parts common to the 2-doors you can get from the major suppliers such as Fusick [fusick.com] - download their catalog.

Hard to find parts will be 4-door specific items like door panels, weatherstrip, etc.

Welcome, Andreas! I spent a few days in Geneva about 10 years ago on a family vacation in Europe. I was surprised at how many American cars I saw. There were a few Grand Cherokees, a 3rd-generation Firebird, 1990s Buick LeSabre, 1977 or so Chevy K-5 Blazer, and a 1977-80 Chevy Caprice. I remember visiting Paris and seeing a mint 1969 Boss Mustang rumble down the Champs-Élysées. Talk about standing out from the crowd! You've got a nice Cutlass. Best of luck with the project. You've come to the right place. There are a lot of people here who can help!
