Finally made it here

Well I finally made it here. I've had Oldsmobiles since '79. I've been in OCA and CCR but currently hold no memberships.

I'm glad you finally made it, we all wondered what was keeping you.

welcome to the board, and we have a few rules - most important rule is no one is allowed to own more than two early 70s cars with W25 hoods, so you must relinquish one to me - thanks.

Steven- watch what you ask for. In all the years I've known John most anything he has can be bought...

Club membership nice but not required to play here... Does CCR do much of anything anymore? Mid Atlantic went dormant a couple years back. I'll be honest- I haven't kept up with the Chapters much since I left the OCA board. I needed a break from it.

I sure would love to see us have another big Zone show though. Winston-Salem and Pigeon Forge were as much fun as I ever had with Oldsmobiles.

BTW, it's mandatory that you post pictures of your nice cars so we can drool all over the keyboard!

Somehow I'm not seeing the downside of this....

Do have one question though. (and I'm not trying to be a smartass) but what is a 1970 W25? I know the W is a letter attached to Olds Performance. I have heard of the W29, W30, W31s, but never have heard of the w25 other than being (OAI Hood and air breather) part of a performance package on the W30 and W31.

That's what it is, the O.A.I option. His '70 is thus equipped.

Talking Welcome to CO

John,

I can see you are a serious Olds addict. Great collection. Now we need to see pictures of that garage Joe Mentioned.
