Smile Newbie North Texas

Howdy! I just bought a '68 from a gentleman who has done most of the mechanical restoration. The other picture is me in 1974 when I had to sell my origional '68 442 to go to college.

Love this, like a story book ending. Now to live happily ever after.

Welcome to ClassicOlds.

Any other Oldsmobile's in the interim ? Or first foray back in 50 years... By the way love the way you had the original. Rake, lack of molding, and the slots. 2nd time this month seeing slots here on 68s. Looks great.

Welcome. Great looking 442. Have you decided if you are going to register it with Standard Texas license plates, Texas Antique plates, or the supper cool Texas Year-of-Make plates?

Gee, so many decisions. Didn't think about plates yet, I think the year of make plates are cool.

I have YOM tags on both my ‘70 and ‘40 (Texas). A very nice touch. (Not to mention five year registration!)

Welcome from Royal Lane and I-35

I’ve been here for almost a decade and these guys are the truth. I love em and they’ve helped on numerous occasions with lots of useful information. I also love that you can get any part for your cars via classicolds.

That's great! I will be looking for new light switch and turn signals first.
