newbie 68 442

Hello all – new to forum but excited to share my 68 Cutlass 442 I recently purchased. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions and hope this community will help out a guy that knows just enough to be dangerous.

Ahoy matey

Is she a real 442?

Wheel arch moldings absent... stripe too far forward.... but well done otherwise. What kind of engine, trans?

Welcome to the site I see what Octania is talking about not only is the stripe to far forward but it looks like the 442 emblem is also to far forward. Check

This will help you authenticate your car.

Yep, it's real. Florida car now moved to Wisconsin. Repainted, originally blue. 400 engine, TH400 trans. Has new Edelbrock manifold and Carb. Body in good shape along with original interior. All badges are original, and to my knowledge in correct holes. Agree about the width of the stripes. Have to work on that along with other minor issues. FUN car to drive!
