Newbie from Michigan-Looking to buy an olds 442
Good morning,
I’m John, a newbie from Michigan. I havent bought an Oldsmobile yet, but looking to join your family. I have had trans ams with olds 403’s and they were fun, but as I get older getting in and out and driving them was less fun on my back. I had a 77 cutlass in high school, loved that car but the salt just loved to eat it up. Anyhow I am interested in 1970-1972 Cutlass’. I’m sure they each have their quirks but they seem like advertised as the gentleman’s muscle car. Looking forward to learning more about them and welcome any and all advice you might have.
Thanks
John

So what would you like to do with your car?
just a weekend cruiser?
car show contestant?
stop light bully?
of all the years, 70-72 I’d probably the easiest to get parts for.
That being said…any Olds will be a labor of love.

It will just be a weekend cruiser. I would like it to have some nice sound and some get up and go too.
