New Member Alert!

Distinguished members,
My name is Tim and I have moved into your community. Although new to this forum, I have many years of forum prowess with other hobbies (guitars and vintage watches) and will adhere to the group terms and policies. I have been a long-time fan of the Oldsmobile brand, growing up with a dad that came from a long line of Oldsmobile owners. This year will be the beginning of a complete restore of an all original 1966 Olds 442 with my dad and look forward to learning from this group. I too have owned many Oldsmobiles and am on the hunt for my dream car, the 1965 Olds 442 with a 4 speed manual and 400 cu. I live in Tennessee and look forward to getting to know this community.

Tim

Welcome to the site! There are many 1966 owners here so if any questions arise during your restoration feel free to post them up!

Welcome. What an excellent Olds for your restoration.

You mentioned you're into vintage watches. Have you been to the WatchuSeek forum?

https://www.watchuseek.com/

I've posted there as Olds64 as well, but I don't check it very often.

It would be great if you could post a clear picture of the cowl data plate. That would provide more details.

Thanks
