New to forum
Hello out there. I'm Scott and I just joined this forum. I worked at oldsmobile in lansing for 33 years. My starfire came from long Beach via San Francisco. Built in California. In recent years I have owned a 70 442, 75 Royale convertible, cutlass convertible, and many other oldsmobiles.
Welcome to the forum! It is a great place for Olds enthusiasts and a great source of information.
I love your car! Back in the late 80s I bagged groceries, and an 80 year old widow that shopped at the store had a car exactly like yours, a red 62 Starfire. Hers was mint with less than 30,000 miles on it, and she kept the miles down by alternating driving her metallic green 72 Buick Riviera which had less than 20,000 miles.
Both were great cars, but the 62 Starfire is as beautiful as any 60s car I have ever seen. Can't wait to see more photos of yours.
