Hey all!

New guy here, not new to Oldsmobile's but new to the forum. The last time I owned one was in the mid nineties, not much for forums back then lol!

So to go along with that The last Olds I owned was this 1969 Cutlass S which I restored back in '96 or so.

I rebuilt the 350, installed bucket seats from a Dodge Shadow (lol) a fresh coat of black paint and stripes and dyed the tan top black. After a few years I foolishly traded it for a GMC S15 Jimmy and it was never to be seen again,...until...

About a month ago I saw a listing on Facebook Marketplace of this car...

I told my wife "that's my old Cutlass!" and she said "well then you better go buy it!"

So I e-transferred him the cash and that day we did a 7 hour return road trip to bring the car home to my shop. Unfortunately the previous owners did not take good care of her and now I'm going to have to restore it again!

So there's my Olds story and thanks in advance for welcoming to this forum!

cheers

Wow ! what a story. I figured you just meant another one just like it, not the exact same car. I can see the faint gold stripes on the hood, awesome !

What a difference 20 or so years makes.

By the way your baby is a Supreme. Welcome aboard and thank you for your service.

Many people wish for the story you have about their own long lost Oldsmobiles. You are a lucky one for sure....welcome aboard.
