Smile 64 Cutlass Conv newbie

Hello my name is Jack Sippel, recent purchaser of a 64 Olds Cutlass Conv. I first saw the car last year at The Daytona Turkey Rod Run and it caught my eye. Long story short I bought it in September of this year. Always liked that body style having a 71 prior which is also a nice car. This will be a driver at this point, has the 330 V8 (66-67) with the Jetaway, center console, Texas car prior to 97. Very solid. Looking forward to my membership in the classicoldsmobile.

Welcome. I have always liked the looks of the 64's too. Looks like it will be a nice cruiser for you.

Great looking car! I'm a huge convertible fan. I have yet to see another 64 or 65 at any of the cruise ins here in the Sacramento area. Enjoy. I look forward to seeing some more pics.

Yeah I saw maybe one or two at the Daytona Turkey Rod Run which is a huge event. 64 wagon and I think a 65 coupe. Some 65 parts but no 64's

Nice car. You'll be one of a kind at most shows. Also they are a very nice car to cruise in.

Thanks, has good bones being from Texas prior to 97. I still have slides (that need to be converted) from one of the trips I went on with my Uncle, aunt and great grandmother in 1963 across Canada. What breath taking scenery and would love to maybe do it again. All three trips (Newfoundland, across Canada, and Mexico) done in a 1960 Dodge Matador.
