Hey All!
After a lengthy hiatus, i am back into Oldsmobile country again . About 8-9 years ago I purchased a 62 F85, but I couldn't keep it as uncle Sam sent me over the pond for a 12 month adventure. I got my Oldsmobile start at the ripe old age of 19 with a 1974 Cutlass Salon. along the way I traded it off, and had a brief return with a 75 Supreme, and then I turned a 96 GMC Sonoma into a Bravada pickup. I also came across and 85 442, and turned it into my weekend drag racer. ( Sorry, it had suffered a bit at the hands of previous owners, and had some rot, and a small block chevy under the hood. It has ran a best of 8.91, 1/8th and 14.39, 1/4.) I am now getting back into the Classic Olds game with a 64 Dynamic 88 that was raced and abused and left sitting for a few years. Always the optimist, I want to revive it and cruise it to shows and burger joints . this car is pretty compete, so I am hoping that I can get the drivetrain running without too much Grief, and focus on the appearance. 394 and I assume a SlimJim. If anyone has any advice on rebuilding or updating the Slimjim, please feel free to message me. turning sub 9's in the 1/8th mile What great Lines! Decent foundation
Welcome, looks like that 64 has had some rear wheel well opening work done. Like maybe using another set of front moldings on the rear and opening them up? I had heard that would work. Glad you are back!
