Just Bad ***

I’ve been lurking on this wonderful site for 4 years. My anniversary year is Halloween 2016 when I found this ‘68 442 purchased from Jeff Williams. Great guy and restorer/builder out of TN.
This morning I got up and took it for a drive. Winter is coming here in n. Va and the driving days are getting few and far between. I’m heading to the World Champoin Washington Nationals parade and party later this afternoon and wanted to start with a drive. This car reminded me how simply bad *** 455 bored 60 over with mild above stock cam and 278 gears the car is. Yea one an go deeper in to race performance, that’s totally cool but I wanted a sleeper and this car is just that looks stock and is a bad *****. After putting the car away I came in the house and RUSH was playing. All the things are lining up for that perfect day to be alive.

Doesn't get much better than that. I drove my 442 to the office this morning. Sun is shining so I'm going to get the hell out of here and listen to some RUSH on the way home. Thanks for the idea...

Geeze, Guy, you could have driven it to our tour of White Post Restorations today with the rest of the club.

It just seems like the weight of the world is lifted off your shoulders when you go for a ride.

Unfortunately, both of mine will be cleaned, fueled and prepped for the long winters nap this week. We had snow on Halloween night and got around 33% trick or treaters of usual night.

Joe that was my intention but the Washington Nationals won the World Series so my wife and I went to the celebration parade. Figured it’s a once in a lifetime event that I didn’t want to miss.

What, you don't plan to be around in another 95 years?

Go Nats - Finished the Fight! My husband and I were in the city Saturday also -- didn't see the parade, but we saw a lot of the people, confetti, etc. soon after. We live in Falls Church. It looks like your '68 Cutlass and mine are neighbors.
