First time poster on any Olds Forum

I have inherited an unmolested 1938 Oldsmobile 2 door, with trunk and semi automatic transmission. The engine is running well, but would like to paint the car an Oldsmobile Nassau cream. Does any one know the paint code or name for the pin stripe? Also the vehicle is missing the shift ****, can someone direct me to a site that may have one, or a picture so I can have one reproduced.

Thanks for all the help you can give.Judy

What model/style of 1938 Oldsmobile? We like to see photos.

Here's a 1938 Olds paint chip chart. Nassau Cream is second from the bottom on left.

That semi-automatic transmission is extremely rare . Good luck with it .

First thing, if you haven't already, is to join the National Antique Olds Club and pick the 1938 advisor's brain. www.antiqueolds.org
