Im about to do an engine swap, I have two 1960 super 88 sedans. (Bubbletop and a flat top) This will be my first time doing this so i would like some pointers and how to approach this correctly. The engines are both 394s but one is siezed. I want to take the working one and put it into the white one below

Welcome to the forum. That should be about the easiest swap there is since the cars are identical. Get yourself a factory shop manual, take a bunch of good pictures of the current engine from all angles, then start taking it apart. When the stuck engine is out good time to clean and detail the engine compartment if you want to. Keep and tag all fasteners and support the transmission carefully. Then pull the donor engine the same way, now is the time to replace gaskets and seals and detail the engine. Replace the motor mounts now while you have the access. Also backflush the radiator and engine and replace the thermostat and all hoses. Drop in the donor and enjoy. Post a bunch of pictures for all of us!
Get a good engine hoist .
The engine alone is 750 lbs. The engine with trans is probably 1000 lbs .
As stated by others , pull the engine and trans together .
Do you know the history of the transmission on the non seized engine and is it a running Jetaway? There is issues trying to get a Jetaway and a seized engine apart, almost impossible with the engine and transmission in the car. Maybe someone can chime in here if you know a easy way to do this but as far as I know you need to get that engine so you can rotate the flex plate and get to the fluid coupling bolts (I think 28 of them) then separate the two parts. Or better yet just use the good engine and transmission and leave the seized engine and transmission stuck together for another day to mess with.
That is if the transmission is good on the engine that is healthy ?..... Tedd
