Hi All,
I have a 394 green engine with a four bbl carb and I want to upgrade to a 10:5 comp ratio and 345 HP version. I want a turn key rebuild. I afraid of Mondello and leary about local or some Classic Olds shops. Any suggestions. Thanks

Just curious what transmission are you running behind that 394? Most Slim Jims were problematic when young, add a bunch of years and a fresh worked engine in front of it and longevity isn't what you get.You might want to give Tony a call at Ross Racing Engines. He knows more about these first generation Oldsmobile's than most.... Tedd

Thank you for the heads up. I talked to Tony and he will upgrade the engine and provide an adapter plate and a modern o/drive trans.
