Hello from Kennesaw GA
Hello friends. I'm proud to have joined your group. Just last week I purchased a 1966 Olds Dynamic 88. She needs quite a bit of TLC, but it should be a lot of fun. As I learn things, I will pass them along. One of the things I've already learned is that the Sylvania 90 bulbs (part # 90LL.BP2) do not fit in the courtesy light fixtures where the original GE 90 bulbs were located. The Sylvania bulbs are too long on the bottoms.

oldcutlas and slantflat: Thank you for your welcomes. Greatly appreciate it. The biggest obstacle I've seen so far with the Delta 88 is how tight the engine compartment is. There's not a lot of room to work. I'm used to small block chevys that provide all kinds of elbow room under the hood.

Welcome to C. O. Good solid looking car, seems to be very original with good bumpers and chrome. That saves money that you can use for other improvements. Best of luck, Larry

Nice looking Dynamic 88 (not a Delta). I have some 66's and I like them. Post more picts if you can and one of the engine. These cars actually have good room under the hood in my opinion but as you say probably less than a SB chevy.

Oldsmaniac: Thanks for your words of welcome. Here's a question for you and others: the fuel pump in the Dynamic 88 is underneath the A/C unit. In order to change the fuel pump, it looks like the A/C would have to be pulled out first. Does that sound correct?

No you should not have to touch the AC compressor but you may need to work from underneath. You may also need to crank the engine some to get the ne pump to sit flush so the nut and bolt will thread. The arm on the pump must be on the low point on the eccentric.

Welcome to the group... I owned a 66 Delta back in the mid seventies, same color as yours... Served us well for several years before I decided to sell it and move on to a Custom Cruiser since the family was starting to grow...

Thanks for the guidance on working on the fuel pump, Oldsmaniac. You're right: coming at it from the bottom is the only strategy.
I appreciate the kind welcomes, Olds64 and CRUZN_66! Tonight I de-gunked the engine. Now I can actually see what I'm working with.
