Cool 53 303 water pump pulley removal

Need some advice on how to remove water pump pulley without damageing anything. Have radiator out and fan removed. Goal is to replace noicey water pump without removing front cover.

Once you have all the bolts out and the fan off, the pulley should just slide off the water pump. If it does not then you have some rust between the pulley and the pump. You might want to pull the pump with the pulley on it and then work on separating them on while they are on the workbench. Good luck.

X2 what Red said, you might soak the pulley and shaft for a day or two with your nut busting liquid of choice then tap it both ways with a hammer, it should come off pretty easly. Use a puller if it dosn't ... Tedd
