Hey guys. Quick question. I'm trying to tag and insure my limo but i can't figure out wtf the model is. It's a 1974 model so they cant look it up using the vin. Has a 455ci in it if that helps.
The nose is about a 1972 Buick Estate Wagon. The side marker lights are not from that car, however. The rear door and rear quarter windows have been customized. This may have been a former hearse or otherwise custom-built car. It is not an Oldsmobile, however, unless Buick sheetmetal was put on a Custom Cruiser.
unless Buick sheetmetal was put on a Custom Cruiser.
Not sure why you mention Custom Cruiser, it appears to be a sedan, and if it's an Olds, most likely it is a stretched 88 or 98... the VIN would clarify what the vehicle started life as...

You are correct. Sorry, I looked quickly at the very dark photo and I thought it was a wagon or hearse. It is a stretch limo. Still a Buick front end.
Bumper strip looks like buick . But no port holes on the fender. Could it be a Buick with olds fenders ? Buick had white insert the bumper strip alot. Looks like a chevy grille.
