Used intake gaskets and old valley pan

A few weeks ago I bought a 72 toronado that burned oil for 1500 bucks. I found that this was due to issues with the cylinder head. Had a set of good heads sitting and replaced them solved the issue. I used the original valley pan and a set of intake gaskets not realizing it was wrong. The car has been running fine do I need to redo the intake with a new valley pan and no gaskets or am I risking failure.

If the car is running fine now there's no need to remove the intake and replace the gasket.

I never use the turkey tray intake gasket. Instead I use the side gaskets and ditch the end rails for Permatex form a gasket. You must have gotten lucky.

Long term you will have problems. Change the intake gasket to one or the other. Metal gaskets are not reusable.
