Hi everyone, I have two questions. I have taken my final drive unit out for restoration. Problem is can't find the tool to spread the case to remove the Carrier. Called ever GM dealership around me with no luck. Does some have another way of doing this? Second question, removing all of the front suspension parts for restoration. I have the torsion bar unloader tool from Kent Moore for my 1983 Cadillac Eldorado. Thought I had that covered, won't fit. Looking at the pictures in the service manual. It looks just like the one I have, except it won't work. Does anyone have a way of unloading the torsion bar without harm or damage?

If you want. Try posting in the suspension drivetrain forum section with the title

Or something like that to get more interest.
