1975 Cutlass Bell Housing Bolt

Hey everybody I'm Pulling the original engine out of a 75 Cutlass. All the work is done, I just have to pull the bell housing bolts and the one on the driver's side is driving me crazy trying to get it out . There isnt enough space to really get at it under there with a socket. this metal part of the bell housing has a kind of eye hole thing that is in my way. Kind of wonder the best way to get this thing out. Does anybody know the best way? Mayby from the top or something??

Anytime I pull bell housing bolts I use a long extension and a short flex socket from the underside of the vehicle, never had a problem removing them...

It was easier for me to remove my Vacuum booster and get it out of the way so I can get my hands in with a wrench.

You are working above the engine though right? With a long extension going down to the bottom bolt? I'll try this when I get home from work

If you are referring to my post, NO... As my post states, you go from the underside, not the top...

Ok so now I can continue project. Bought engine at swap last year it's a 68 350. 75 Salon had original single exhaust from 75 350... I'm looking at getting hedman shortys..Is that correct? I think I need shortys for duals on 75 salon.
